Welcome to BONKERS....the famous gift shop established in St Andrews, Scotland in 1983.
Bonkers is an active and participating member of the United Kingdom's Giftware Association. We are a past winner of the UK's Independent Gift Retailer of the Year award (2002/2003) and Scottish Independent Gift Retailer of the Year (2005), runner-up (2006 and 2007). Making A Purchase
Please note Price/currency conversions indicated in our live converter are as a guide only and are based on mid market rates (i.e the difference between international buying and selling rates) as indicated in the currency converter page. The amount charged to your credit card will be in pounds sterling, but converted to the currency of your choice on the day of the transaction at a rate set by your credit/debit card provider.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit and debit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your bank/card company will convert the transaction amount into your own currency.

We accept Maestro/Switch, Solo, Delta, Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit/debit card information via phone, fax, ordinary mail or securely over the Internet.

Shipping And Handling
Shipping costs within the UK are calculated on the total weight of your order and begin at £1.50 up to order weight of 150 gms.

For most European countries, shipping starts at £1.50 up to 100 gms.

For North America, shipping starts at £2.00 (approx $3.50 ) up to 100 gms (4oz).

We will never charge you more than the quoted price.

The quoted price is for delivery to the delivery address which you supply us with. Re-delivery or forwarding to a different address may incur a further charge.

Delivery Schedule
We will despatch your order within 2 working days. Normal delivery times are -

1-3 working days within UK.
3-7 working days within Europe
4-10 working days rest of World

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included.

For orders despatched and paid for outside the European Union we can deduct the 17.5% VAT.

Credit Card Security

All credit/debit card numbers are encrypted in our software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. This method is more secure than using standard 40 bit encryption typical of many other stores. Credit/debit card numbers are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases from Bonkers. If any item does not meet the high standard you expect from us you may return it within 14 days for a full refund. Shipping charges are not refundable except where the goods are faulty. We will not be liable for the cost of shipping/handling returned goods except where the goods are faulty. Please contact us first before returning any items.

We will refund or replace any items that you are not completely satisfied with within 14 days of receipt. Remittance Terms
Your card will be debited with the full transaction value before the goods are despatched.
